Brooklyn Vyolesa is a Kenyan former radio presenter who is on a mission to visit every country in the world. So far she has traveled to 112 countries across the globe.
The Kenyan media personality was born to parents who worked outside the country.
Her mother Dr Mary Yuanita, studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, and her father at the University of Washington, Seattle, and were living in the US before Brooklyn was born.
Her father is a medical doctor while her mother, who works for the United Nations, is a gender expert who focuses on development and public health.
Her parents moved to the US for further studies in the 1990s. Her mother would later be based in Senegal for two years.
Brooklyn’s parents however decided that it was important to give birth to their firstborn child in Kenya – where Brooklyn was born.
As a child, Brooklyn traveled to various countries with her parents.
As an adult, Brooklyn studied law and even passed the bar. Three years after practicing law she moved to an all-female radio station. Two years into her time there, in 2014, she decided that she was going to travel.
Travelling is like therapy for Brooklyn. Below are some of her photos from various destinations across the world. (Photo credit/Instagram ( )
