The Kenyan rap scene might just get interesting in a matter of days to come if the speculations are true.

In a few months back, the multi-award-winning rapper who traces his roots to Kayole, Khaligraph Jones released one of the hottest hip hop records of this generation, at least in East African region if not across the African region ‘Yes Bana’ featuring Sauti Sol’s lead vocalist, Bien-Aime Baraza who was on the hook of the song.

On the ‘Yes Bana’ hit song that currently sits on over 2 million clean YouTube views since it was released, Khaligraph Jones called out fellow upper echelon rappers in Octopizzo, Nyashinski, and King Kaka, asking them for collaborations.

Out of all the rappers the Kayole rapper called out on the record, seems like it’s only King Kaka who reached out to the rapper with a prospect of working together with the rapper.

It’s not clear who reached out to who between two of the established rappers in the game today, but we are happy they linked up together altogether.

The respected rappers in the Kenyan hip hop scene shared the same photo on social media keeping it subtle and low-key not hinting on what they are up to getting the fans to speculate on what they are up to.

A collaboration between Khaligraph Jones and King Kaka is what the rap game in the country might just need right now to help put the Kenyan rap scene on the international pedestal.

In a combined music catalog, the artistes have worked with M.I. Abaga, Sarkodie, HHP, Tracy Morgan, Romain Virgo, BigStar Johnson, YoungstaCPT, Zoocci Coke Dope, Cassidy, Ycee, Da’ville, Raheem Devaughn, Kwesi Arthur, and so many others.

What’s not to like when it comes to a collaboration project between Khaligraph Jones and King Kaka even though they haven’t made anything official just yet but it would be good for hip hop business in the country which will by far make sure they have good money in their pocket and make the fans happy while at it.
