Etana set to sing in Swahili in her 8th studio album ‘Pamoja’

Etana has got massive love in Kenya, across Africa and that might be the reason why she’s about to blow everyone’s minds with her ready-to-be-released 8th studio album.

The Reggae Queen who has established herself as a musical force and an astounding role model to all of our women everywhere announced that she won’t only be releasing her 8th studio album where she will sing in Swahili but she will also feature two established artistes in her studio album.

“Etana you better sing a song in Swahili. Etana responds; I DID!” Etana confessed to singing in Swahili.

Etana, real name Shauna McKenzie has featured Wyre and Naiboi in her studio album that she dubbed ‘Pamoja’ which is Swahili for ‘Together’.

“Etana name one Kenyan artist on your album. Etana response; “I will name 2, Nai Boi and Wyre and there is more”. Then she smiles ” she disclosed on social media.

The Grammy Awards nominee Reggae superstar promised that this studio project is going to be her best yet and from the information she just shared about the same, we can’t doubt her one bit.

Explaining herself on social media about her eighth studio album ‘Pamoja’, Etana says she can’t wait to have her fans listen to the project when it drops officially.

She hinted that she didn’t only work with Naiboi and Wyre on the project but other established African artistes as well with Stonebwoy being one of them, actually her collaborative record with the Ghanaian BET Award winner is already out. It’s titled ‘Proppa’.

“My 8th studio album is called Pamoja. Pamoja means together.

It’s an album featuring many great artists you know and love.

Some you may even grow to love or love more. Smiling face with [smiling eyes emoji] it’s time to get together. [Clinking glasses emojis]” Etana shared on Twitter excited to share the news with her fans about the project.
