Eric Omondi said that Guardian Angel’s music career took a turn for the worst ever since Esther Musila married him in January 2022.
The comedian unleashed a tirade against gospel musicians whom he says are more scandalous than their secular counterparts.
“The gospel industry was the identity of Kenyan music but they have all fallen and the church has let down Kenyans. Gospel artistes have more scandals than secular musicians. You have left the Ministry, you have left God, and you have left the church, you will never succeed,” Eric Omondi said in a video he posted on his Instagram account.
He further challenged gospel musicians to pull up their sock while pointing out some of the things that cause them to be underperform.
In the case of Guardian Angel, Eric said his wife was the reason why he was no longer popping musically.
“Guardian Angel pia sahi tangu aolewe we don’t see him anywhere,” Eric Omondi said.
Reacting to Eric’s bile, Esther Musila took to social media and posted a photo of her husband and shared inspiration quotes.
“There is no greater gift you can give or receive than to honor your calling. It’s why you were born, and how you become most truly alive. Focus on things where you are the BEST. You can’t please and satisfy everyone and that’s ok,” Esther Musila wrote.
