Eric Omondi and his girlfriend Lynne were expecting a baby together but unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage and lost her unborn.
The comedian expressed the pain of losing his unborn baby in a post on social media.
“Last night was one of the longest nights in my life. We fought for over 5 hours to try and save our little angel but God had other plans. We never met you but we sure felt you and will forever love you. Respect all the women, no man on earth has that kind of strength. Lynne stay strong… It is well,” Omondi wrote.
The comedian had shared a clip showing his girlfriend crying inconsolably following the loss of their unborn baby.
Days after the loss of their unborn baby, Eric and Lynne went to the coast to unwind.
“Look who is bouncing back smoothly…” Eric Omondi captioned a video of Lynne having a nice time in a swimming pool.
Lynne reposted the video and wrote, ” taking a day at a time baby,” accompanied with a blushing and love heart emoji.
Some female critics took issues with Lynne ‘getting over her grief too fast’ after she was seen having a good time at the coast days after losing her unborn baby.
“I thought she was mourning,” Instagram user Florence Wanjiku wrote.
Responding to the criticism, Lynne noted that she had received a lot of such negative comments especially from women.
“Jesus Christ, it’s always the women. I’ve been forced to report a lot of these types of comments for the past 3 days,” Lynne noted.
“I haven’t let go, but I have to continue living life and protecting my mental health. So keep your opinions about my situation to yourselves. I don’t care what none of you think about how I run my life on God,” she added.
