Eric Omondi has come to the help of South African Amapiano deejay Chiedza Mangena alias DJ Chichi who is stranded in Nairobi after she was duped by a Kenyan promoter.

DJ Chichi, who specializes in playing South Africa’s Amapiano music that is gaining popularity across the world, arrived in Kenya almost two weeks ago for a series of performances and media organized by a promoter called Chris Black.

Chris Black abandoned DJ Chichi at a hotel without paying her or clearing the bills.

According to a source who reached out to Eric Omondi, DJ Chichi has a Ksh200,000 debt that she needs to raise. This is money that was spent on her accommodation, food, transport, tickets etc that has to be cleared before she leaves. She also needs a ticket back home.

Speaking to vloggers, Eric Omondi gave Chris Black an ultimatum to sort out DJ Chichi failure to which he vowed to deal with him thoroughly.

“He has six hours to sort her with a business class ticket, pay her Ksh200,000 arrears and pay her performance fee and return the money he conned her $400. I will do what I can to help her but number one the guy has to take responsibility. If he doesn’t do that then we will have an example to show you,” Eric said.
