Eric Omondi has opened up on social media about a lot of stuff that most people didn’t know about and didn’t need to know about his relationship with Jacque Maribe on social media after he was labeled a deadbeat father by Maribe.
The celebrated comedian took to social media to say his side of the story subtly accusing Jacque Maribe of refusing to honor his request of having a DNA test because he is convinced to this date that he might not be the father.
Omondi says that whatever they had with Maribe whom she met at Radio Africa back in 2012 was nothing but a fling and he still insists that he used protection when they exchanged hormones in one fateful day after a Radio Africa Staff Party.
Omondi went further to disclose that when they “happened”, Maribe was still in a relationship with renowned Journalist Sam Ogina.
Eric Omondi says that he doesn’t mind supporting the child but he would need proof of DNA test for him to be fully present and supportive in their child’s life.
The self-proclaim President of Comedy said that he has been pleading with Maribe for 7 long years for him to get a DNA test which has always been futile.

“So we met at Radio Africa in 2012. I was working at Radio Jambo and Jacque was working at Kiss TV. So one Random night after a Radio Africa Staff Party and after a few bottles of whiskey and wine glasses Jacque and I happened. It was really a one-night thing because she was dating KTN’s Sam Ogina at the time.
WE USED PROTECTION!!! After two Months Jacque tells me she’s Pregnant!!! I immediately ask her how since we used Protection??? She then tells me “It doesn’t matter the mother always knows who the Father is and that I am the Father!!! During the entire Pregnancy nothing happened and we barely saw each other.
Roughly 4 months after the baby was born Jacque called me and asked me if I would help or be part of the baby’s life. I asked her for a DNA test so that I could comfortably be part of the baby’s life and SUPPORT fully. She got very offended and Refused my request. For 7 seven years I have begged Jacque to allow us have a DNA Test and she has CONTINUALLY refused!!! I don’t mind supporting the child but if you want me to be FULLY PRESENT and SUPPORTIVE, if you Want me to be a FATHER. Then we have to do the RIGHT THING!!!!”
This comes a few hours after Eric Omondi phoned Jacque Maribe live on air at Mungai Eve’s YouTube channel where Maribe told him live on air that he is indeed a deadbeat dad to their child who doesn’t know that they had moved out. She called him out for failing to pay the child’s school fees.

Jacque Maribe poured her heart out as she gushed over her adorable son on social media writing sweetly;
“I have an absolute love for this here son of mine, fruit of my womb that I wanted. And I’m blessed to be custodian over him.
Now, a lot of people have asked me to be quiet about what the real story on the ground is, I respect that. But I also ask that you respect me enough to be really real. I wouldn’t air any dirty laundry. A lot of my real friends love him, and us, he’s such a charming person. My family adores him.
So, all said and done, and you can read in between the lines if you want, I’m hopelessly in love with motherhood. And as a single mum doing everything on her own, my goal is to raise a brilliant person, as he already is.
I love my son, I’ll stand by him, any day, every day.”
