Comedian Eric Omondi has strongly condemned Nigerian artist Omah Lay for exploiting Diamond Platnumz’s baby mama Tanasha Donna whom he stayed with while in Kenya.

Speaking to reporters, Eric called out Omah Lay saying it was inappropriate for him to stay in Kenya for two weeks with Tanasha and leave without recording a song with her.

Eric’s outburst comes months after the Nigerian singer visited Kenya and stayed for almost two weeks, performing in a variety of events in Nairobi and Mombasa.

During his stay in Kenya, Omah Lay is thought to have been staying with Tanasha in a hotel in the coastal city of Mombasa.

The two were seen sharing videos and images of the hotels in which they were both staying at the time.

Eric lamented that Omah Lay failed to record a collabo with Tanasha but went on to record a song with celebrated Canadian singer Justin Bieber.

“Omah Lay should not be allowed to stay in the nation for so long and then leave without working with a Kenyan musician. Omah Lay departed the nation and recorded a music collaboration with Justin Bieber, but Tanasha was left out.

He spent two weeks in Mombasa with Tanasha. Is it true that there are no studios in Mombasa? What is the worth of our money? He spent the money he earned in Kenya on his Justin Bieber duet,” Omondi complained.

Eric is pushing local media houses to play 75% local content. He petition the parliament to draft legislation that ensures local content is given prominence by the media.
