Elsa Majimbo is the fast-rising Kenyan internet sensation that was among the best entertainers in the entire 2020.

2020 saw her hit the international scene after her skits made their way to international celebrities who loved what she was doing on the internet and a ripple effect caused her to blow up globally.

She’s even close friends with internationally acclaimed model Naomi Campbell

The internet teen sensation most recently made the cover of the latest issue of the Teen Vogue magazine of Young Hollywood Class of 2021.

Taking it to social media this past Thursday,18 February, the 19-year-old comedian shared how proud, happy, and humbled she is to have done her first cover with Teen Vogue which is a feat a lot of people can’t claim.

“My first magazine cover is with Teen Vogue !!! My first magazine cover is with Teen Vogue !!!! bury me now !!!,” she wrote.

Elsa Majimbo is on top of the world and she’s easily becoming yet another entertainment export from Kenya alongside Lupita Nyong’o to make Kenya proud thanks to her videos.

Majimbo was also featured on Netflix series on the show dubbed ‘Strong Black Lead’ where she opened up about the struggles of not getting well-deserved opportunities because of her dark skin.

Pointing out that most of her videos are predominantly referring to dark-colored women she said she is inspired by her position on racism and her efforts to make everyone feel comfortable and free in their own skin.

“I feel like it’s so important for me to show, especially to women, that it’s dark-skinned, that there’s nothing wrong with having dark skin. Just because people want to make you feel a difference doesn’t mean that there is. And you are as deserving as everyone else. And you have to do everything, like everyone else,” said Majimbo.

Among all these accolades that Majimbo has achieved yet, the one achievement in life that she can’t and probably won’t ever get over it is the fact that Rihanna responded to her DM.

Yes, Rihanna the very own badgirlriri herself responded to our girl.

Rihanna not only responded to her DM where she reached out to her telling her she’s the best and wishing her a happy birthday as the R&B singer turned 33 years old on the 20th of February.

Rihanna responded to her and told her that she loved her and called her queen.

“Love youuuuu Queen” Rihanna responded to her.

The teenager comedian has promised to forever use her new profile picture without changing it.

“I WILL NEVER CHANGE MY PROFILE PICTURE. PERIOD” she tweeted after sharing the screengrab of her conversation with Rihanna.

Elsa Majimbo might just be the only African entertainer to have gotten a response from the badgalriri herself and we’re here for it.

This comes after the comedian shared about how Rihanna sent her a handwritten letter when she was just starting out to urge her to continue what she’s doing and never stop doing it. Rihanna has always been her supporter from day one.

“Elsa, You a baddie and you know it. And your reel was fire!!! Love, Rihanna A.K.A Your childhood friend.” the handwritten letter from Rihanna read.

There’s nobody pushing her down whatsoever about her decision of having Rihanna’s response to her as her profile picture, I mean, who wouldn’t?
