The American adoptive father of slain LGBTQ activist and model Edwin Chiloba is battling a deadly disease – it has only now emerged.

For starters, Chiloba was adopted by an American couple Peter Pfaltzgraff and his wife Donna who paid for his varsity education.

The Pfaltzgraff family which hails from the US have been the spiritual parents of the deceased and they frequent the country as preachers. They have been in the country since March 2022.

They run a church called Grace and Faith Family Ministry and according to them their message is that God loves all people irrespective of their sexuality.

Peter and his wife said that the death of Chiloba adversely affected them.

It has now emerged that Peter has been battling cancer for a while.

In 2019 while on a vacation in the US, Peter went for a normal medical check up only to be diagnosed with prostrate cancer.

“An unexpected diagnosis and unexpected hospital visit has caused us to need to reach out for help,” Peter posted on Facebook.

His health condition forced him and his wife Donna to overstay in the US to a point they appealed for financial support for his treatment and other expenses.

“I had a recent surgery to deal with cancer in the prostate. I am getting the information that the total out of pocket costs for my hospitalization will be close to 1,200.00; and extended care will add even more. We are standing to get these bills paid before we return to Kenya in March!” Peter stated.

“First, we ask you to pray. Then, as you are led of the Holy Spirit, donations will be appreciated. God is faithful! Thank you. Together YOU really DO make the difference,” he added.
