Edwin Chiloba was cruelly killed and his remains were stuffed in a metal casing in Kapsaret, Uasin Gishu County.
While the motivation behind his killing remains unknown, DCI sleuths are working around the clock to apprehend those responsible for the horrible and inhumane murder of Edwin Chiloba.
Edwin Chiloba was from Elgeyo Marakwet and in one of the interviews, he recalled his difficult upbringing after his mother died. He was very young when his mother passed on.
Later while in high school, death would strike again, depriving him of his father.
He praises his father and says that he found acceptance and meaning in his father who nurtured his originality.
Edwin attended Moi University West Campus, where he discovered contentment as well as a new love, in fashion.
Edwin Chiloba eventually moved to Nairobi; dejected and without direction, until a friend volunteered to sign him under his modeling and talent agency.
He created his designs, and not long after, his breakthrough came via a Direct message on Facebook, from a white couple who adored his handiwork.
Eventually, they enrolled him at a Fashion school and supported him to pursue his passion and dreams.
Uasin Gishu police are investigating his murder; his body was discovered packed in a metallic box that was dropped by an unmarked, nondescript vehicle.
The incident was reported and police responded and discovered a decomposing body of a guy clothed in women’s clothing inside a box.
The deceased body was taken to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital for an autopsy to determine the cause of his death.
