Ebru TV management has come out to set the record straight following the recent fallout with comedian Vincent Muasya Mutua alias Chipukeezy and Nick Chege alias Kartelo.
Chipukeezy terminated his contract with Ebru TV claiming that the TV station wanted him to to cut links with Kartelo and also wanted him to stop hosting youth on the show and instead prioritize on hosting politicians and corporate leaders.

Ebru TV issued a statement on Thursday August 29th 2019 clarifying what really happened leading to Chipukeezy terminating their contract with them.
The Turkish owned station said that it has not been easy working with Chipukeezy. They said that the fallout with the comedian was because of census campaign which the two comedians failed to deliver to Ebru TV’s satisfaction.
“We wish to clarify the issues that have been in the public eye. Chipukeezy has been part of the Ebru family for over a year and a half even though this has not been an easy relationship. As part of the census campaign we asked our in-house influencers to push the census campaign for us on social media. We gave him the videos to post on social media pages this was not done to our satisfaction,” read part of Ebru TV’s statement.
