Diamond Platnumz on November 20, 2023, officially unveiled young artiste Dvoice to his record label WCB Wasafi.
Two months after Dvoice was signed to Wasafi, the new kid on the block talked about how he had to change some things that he was used to in his normal life.
Speaking during an interview with Wasafi FM, Dvoice noted that the big change that surprised him was when he was given bodyguards to give him protection all the time wherever he went.
He said that at first, he was wondering why he was being protected by bouncers all the time because he saw that he had nothing thieves could rob him, but as time went on, he understood why.
“Kusema kweli kwa mara ya kwanza ilikuwa ni ngumu sana. Sema sasa hivi nimeanza kuzoea kuwa na mabaunsa. Kuna kipindi nilikuwa nawaambia eeh bwana ndugu zangu eh… kwa sababu nilikuwa sioni cha kunilinda, nilikuwa nashangaa wananilinda nini?” Dvoice said.
“Yaani nilikuwa nashangaa kinachowafanya wanilinde wanalinda nini maana sina kitu ninachomiliki cha kuwafanya watu labda wakatamani kuniua. Lakini ilifika mahali nikatambua thamani yangu, jinsi watu wanavyoniitikia unapita mahali unapata watu wanakuchangamkia kutaka kukukumbatia kumbe labda wana visu, kwa hiyo mabaunsa wanasaidia,” he added.
