Bongo singer Dulla Makabila was summoned by police over a song he released insulting his ex-wife Zaylissa and tycoon Haji Manara.

Makabila dropped a diss track ‘Furahi ‘slamming his ex Zaylissa and her new husband Haji Manara just a day after they got married.

In the song, Makabila tells the tycoon, who has a habit of marrying and divorcing, that Zaylissa isv very bad at cooking.

Makabila in the diss track urges Zaylissa to learn how to cook less her new husband finds out that she is terrible at cooking.

The singer also referred Haji, who is an albino, as a mzungu (white person) in the diss track.

The song came out just a few hours after Zaylissa and Manara got married on January 19, 2024.

“Wewe furahi tu nimekuacha furahi, umepata mzungu furahi. Mimi si ulininywea P2, basi huyo mzungu ndio umzalie.

The diss track did not seem to sit well with Manara who is said to have filed a police report demanding that the young man be punished.

On Wednesday, 24 January, Makabila went to the station to respond to the summons after he was handed a letter that he was required to go to the police station.

However, his lawyer denied that Manara was the one who sent the information to the police, adding that the police themselves asked the musician to go and make a report about the ongoing commotion on social media.
