Daniel Adongo, who is five feet, six inches, and weighed 112 Kilograms when he was playing professional football was the pride of Kenya having successfully transitioned from playing professional Rugby in South Africa to the NFL in America, he was the greatest prospect from Kenya to ever play the football league in America.
Not to sugarcoat anything, he was like a sports god in Kenya, back in 2013,2014, 2015 and Kenyans loved him for proving to the entire world that Kenyans cannot only perform tremendously in marathons but they can also play in the NFL.
His current situation in the US at the moment has shocked a lot of people and even touched the Kenyan Film Classification Board CEO, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, who decided to share his sentiments on social media.

“This story[Daniel Adongo’s story] breaks my heart as if this was my own child. The reason I talk about values with passion is because I believe that the campaign can save someone like Daniel Adongo from degenerating into the abyss of despair.” Dr. Ezekiel Mutua said.
The KFCB CEO wants nothing but to see Daniel Adongo back on his feet like the millions of Kenyans in Kenya and abroad wants.
Many upcoming youths who were playing rugby in the country were looking up to Daniel Adongo because of making history.
Some pundits believe that Daniel Adongo, now 30-years-old could make a comeback if only he can be given a chance to do just that.
“There’s no substitute for values. When you succeed in sports or art or whatever sphere of life, you need faith, discipline, and mentorship to stay the cause. May God give Daniel a second chance and restore him fully.” Dr. Ezekiel Mutua added.
