Kizza Besigye must have tried his luck being sworn in as President elect of Uganda but the real day is Yoweri Museveni’s.
Museveni is being sworn in as the President today amid protests from opposition, for what they term as irregularities during the polls.
But what has caused even more shock is not the ceremony attended by regional heads of state but Yoweri’s statement to Sudan’s President Omar El Bashir who is wanted by the ICC for crimes and genocide.

Presidents who attended the function are Kenya’s Uhuru Kenyatta, Sudan’s Omar Bashir, Tanzania’s John Magufuli and Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe.
