The number one Kenyan female dj, Dj Pierra Makena has released her debut single called ‘#WAPE’ that has proved that you can be multi talented and still be good at it. Everybody and/or anybody who knows Dj Pierra Makena will agree with most of us that she’s as beautiful as she’s talented when it comes to turn tables and turning up any crowd when given a chance to. I must admit, I didn’t I didn’t know she can sing, granted I knew –we all knew– she can act, in fact that’s how many of us got introduced to her through her acting role in Citizen’s TV hit show: ‘Tahidi High’ where she was acting as a student. She is good in acting that she even got nominated for a acting role in Nigeria’s film “When Love Comes Around” by the prestigious Nollywood & African Film Critics’ Award (NAFCA) for the supporting role for the role she played on the movie.
