Diamond Platnumz met a lot of the best rappers and record producers in the entire world, especially in the hip hop genre.
Diamond Platnumz real name Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack met up with Hitmaka, OT Genesis, Akon, Wiz Khalifa, Busta Rhymes, and a whole lot more respected music acts in the US and worldwide, he even met up with Snoop Dogg.
The Award-winning Tanzanian heartthrob opened up on meeting Diddy for the very first time. He disclosed that it was actually Swizz Beatz who took him to Diddy’s house driving him for 2 long hours to his place where he met the Bad Boy Entertainment founder and CEO and the serial successful businessman and an entertainer.
Diamond Platnumz gave props to Diddy for loving Bongo Flava songs not only his music because he’s certain that he listens to other songs apart from his and he is very much with it because that will help the genre grow outside of Tanzania, and Africa making the genre global just as much as Afrobeats, Afrofusion is.
“Swizz Beatz is family, every other time he’s been pushing for Tanzanian music. I’m not saying me alone, but a lot of people doing Tanzanian[Bongo Flava] music.
He[Swizz Beatz] will post a lot of people, he just loves to support Bongo Flava. I’m usually under his care most of the time when I’m in the US because he’s family,” Diamond Platnumz disclosed in his Wasafi FM interview.
He went to add, “It’s true we went to Diddy’s place, I think it was one day before Independence Day[July 3, 2021] in the US. We were at Diddy’s place, there are some things we did, the stuff that happened are not stuff that can be posted on social media because they’ll reveal what will happen in the future. It’s not him alone, we did a lot of stuff with a lot of different people [in the US].”
He opened up on Swizz Beatz driving him for 2 long hours from Los Angeles to Diddy’s place revealing some more that Executive Music Producer, artiste, and serial successful businessman had followed him prior to him going to the United States.
“I met up with Diddy after the BET Awards 2021. First of all, Diddy followed me [on social media] before I left for the US. He’s a person who appreciates my music, my hustle and he also loves Tanzanian music.
Everything was positive [when I met him] and that’s why we went to his house and you know we went with Swizz Beatz and from LA to his place is 2 hours-drive and then it was Swizz Beatz who was driving. You know that’s real love when someone drives you for 2 hours to Diddy’s place.
I remember the very first time when I was in America, I’m not sure if it was before and after the Awards[BET Awards], we talked with Diddy about the issues in regard to Ciroc. He didn’t know that I and Swizz Beatz are really close.
The next day when I was with Swizz Beatz, Swizz Beatz called him through facetime, when Diddy saw me in the video he was shocked to see me with Swizz Beatz.” he added.
