Diana Marua, whose stage name is Diana B, is the only Kenyan musician to be featured on the list of the top 10 African female musicians with the highest subscription.
Diana B was ranked at position eight in the list which is dominated by Nigerian musicians.
Tanzanian singer Zuchu surprisingly tops the list with the highest number of YouTube subscribers in Africa.
Diana has 783,000 active YouTube subscribers sitting at number 8 on the African chart while Zuchu tops the list with 2,29 million subscribers.
Nigerian musicians take positions two, three, four, and five respectively.
Yemi Alade is second with 2.10 million subscribers, Sinach is third with 1.97 million, Ada Ehi is fourth with 1.46 million, Tiwa Savage is fifth with 1.14 million.
Diana Marua thanked her fans for their support after she was listed at position eight in Africa in the list of female musicians with the highest subscribers on YouTube.
The elated content creator and musician thanked her fans, especially subscribers for their support since she started her content creation journey saying Kenya was well-represented in Africa.
“Thank you Team Dee for the overwhelming support that you show me all throughout my Content creating journey. Kenya is well-represented in Africa. We are at number 8 with the most YouTube subscribers. Thank you. Just An ordinary girl with a big God,” she wrote.
Her husband Bahati also congratulated her on her achievement.
“No.1 in Kenya. No.8 in Africa. Congratulations Diana Marua,” Bahati wrote.
“Thank you, my King. I would not be here without your support. I LOVE YOU Bahati Kenya,” Diana responded to Bahati’s congratulation.
