This week, Kevin Bahati’s wife Diana Marua was making news after a video which digs at her debauchery past and a fast life full of promiscuity including being a side chick to married man went viral.
Kenyans have reacted and are sharing stories and photos of men who allegedly had relations with Diana Marua including footballer, Victor Wanyama and some members of the famous boy club that exposed friends of Langata MP and comedian, Jalang’o.
The only innocent victim in all this is Willy Paul. After Diana Marua accused him of attempted rape, his trajectory was affected, deals nose dived and by the time he went to the courts to sue; it was already too late for the Mathare born talented superstar.
Willy Paul claimed in court documents published on his Instagram profile that Marua’s claims cost him business chances. Senior Principal Magistrate D. W. Mburu gave the order for defamatory posts about him accusation to be withdrawn at once until the case was determined on December 29.
“It is hereby ordered that the defendant/respondent’s video and social media post posted on her YouTube channel titled My untold story, Willy Paul attempted to rape me, be pulled down pending the hearing and determination of this suit as it is prejudicing the plaintiff/applicant and making him lose business opportunities and making him suffer health-wise.”
“That the defendant/respondent herein either by herself, her servants, agents, assigns or any other person spreading the video circulating the same is hereby restrained by an interim injunctive order of the court from defaming, spreading, and continuing to defame the plaintiff/applicant pending the hearing and determination of the suit,” the order read.
Even after court ordered the clout-chase video to be removed, I personally feel, a proper apology should be done to Willy Paul, even if it means Bahati making it happen. But from the look of things, he’s been sat on man; amekaliwa chapo, young man can’t influence anything.
Even as Diana Marua and Bahati sing all glory and praise to the lord for saving her and for a chance to start life a new; Willy Paul deserves a statement retraction for assassination of his character and mutilations to his brand.
At the time of the viral and teary video, Willy Paul was on top of his game, hit after hit, he was doing good until several brands boycotted partnerships and millions worth of projects in his pipeline were cancelled.
Until then, whatever Diana Marua says, whether empty or motivational will never sit well with me. She should not be let to go unpunished.
Even after exposing her rotten past, she continues to enjoy endorsements when in reality and in truth; she is not as deserving. The same way other famous figures were judged after allegations and venom was spat on their commentaries and jobs lost; same hammer should strike on Diana Marua, if we are talking about being mentors and good role models of the society.
On December 9, Diana Marua released her video titled “My Untold Story,” in which she accused Willy Paul of rape.

I could go and on, to no end; but it is, what it is! Where is the vitriol against Diana B? Where is the disgust?
Where are the accountability demands for her actions from the righteous ones now?
Truly, there’s no justice in this world.
Diana Marua Bahati must apologize to Willy Paul at once!
