Diamond Platnumz’s dejected biological father Abdul Juma is living life in poverty as his son leads an affluent lifestyle.
The Bongo singer severed communications with his father after accusing him of abandoning him and his mother while he was only a kid, and only showing up when he was rich and famous.

Diamond however reconciled with his father sometimes in April 2019. The meeting took place at Wasafi FM studios.
Abdul Juma has on several occasions tried to mend things with his son, even visiting the Wasafi studio with the hope of seeing him.
“I have realized Diamond is not on the wrong. I am the one who slipped. I already made peace with his mum. I thereafter saw it wise to look for Diamond and ask for his forgiveness,” Diamond’s dad said on one of his visits there.
Well, it seems like Diamond is still not helping his father financially despite their much-publicized reconciliation last year.
A recent viral photo of Abdul Juma carrying a huge sack on his back while boarding a matatu has set tongues wagging.
The photo has been doing rounds on social media, it was first shared on Instagram by Tanzanian gossip sites.
