Diamond Platnumz has made it clear that he will quit music if his opponents continue to create controversy that their songs surpass his song ‘Enjoy’ which he was featured by Juma Jux.
The Wasafi boss spoke after Juma Jux uploaded a piece of the song and gave statistics on how it has been doing through various digital platforms for downloading music.
According to Juma Jux, the song ‘Enjoy’ which has only been in the music market for five months, has done well and remains the only song from East Africa to get high figures in 2023.
Jux went ahead and released all the figures on various platforms.
“Enjoy ni wimbo wenye miezi 5 tu, Lakini streams zake 🥶🤦🏽♂️ na matokeo yake ni makubwa kuzidi wimbo wowote ulitoka 2023 in East & Central Africa. Wimbo unao ongoza kupendwa na kila rika yani wazee, vijana hadi watoto. Umaarufu wa wimbo huu unadhihirika katika matukio na mazingira mbali mbali tuliyoshuhudia ya watu binafsi hadi ya kiserikali.”

Reacting to Juma Jux’s post, Diamond noted that he was tired of hearing his musical opponents claiming that their songs did well in 2023.
As a result, Diamond said that if they continue making false claims, then he was ready to give up music and return to his village in Kigoma to engage in palm oil farming.
“Wakiweka Ngoma Yoyote ya Mwaka jana yenye Rocords hizo ndani ya Miezi Michache hio, Mie Naacha Mziki naenda Kigoma Kulima Mawese huku naskiliza Nyimbo yangu ya Mwisho MAPOZ! ” Diamond said.
Harmonize in particular has been claiming that his song ‘Single Again’ is the only song from Bongo that did well in 2023.
