Diamond Platnumz has revealed the amount of money he used to rent a private plane to transport him and his crew from New York state to Detroit in Michigan state where the Afronation festival was held last weekend.
Through his Instagram, Diamond uploaded a photo of the receipts showing the payment he made for the flight.
The receipts showed that the artist dipped into his pocket and parted with the sum of $36,800 dollars which is equivalent to Ksh5.3 million just for the one-way trip from New York to Detroit without returning him.
“Halafu sasa kuna ya kuibakisha ilale ili kesho ikurudishe tena,” wrote Diamond.
The Wasafi boss was seen on the private plane with his manager Babu Tale and his close associates.
On that luxury plane, they had been prepared with expensive drinks while on their table there was a sign to introduce them “WCB Wasafi”
Diamond performed at Afronationa in Detroit along with other artists including Davido, Burna Boy and others from Africa.
The Wasafi boss used the same private jet to travel from Detroit to Los Angeles in California.
“LA for couple days 🤞🏽,” Diamond captioned a video of him boarding the private jet.
