Nigeria meets Tanzania! Diamond Platnumz is set to do a collaboration with Nigeria’s dopest songbird, Yemi Alade.
This is no surprise as the two singer have already worked together on Coke Studio Season three where they did a mashup song.
Speaking on Radio Citizen’s Mseto East Africa, Diamond said Yemi Alade the song had an East Africa setting and also had a Swahili name.
Again this is not a surprise since Yemi Alade already has a Swahili song; Sauti Sol’s Bien helped her translate her ‘Na Gode’ hit song for Swahili.
Yemi has Swahili version of ‘Na Gode’ which is already taking over the airwaves not only in her native Nigeria but also in East Africa.
Diamond refused to divulge more details about the song saying his fans should anticipate for a big hit which he will be dropping with Yemi Alade any time.
