Diamond Platnumz on May 11th 2022 announced he was buying his first private jet while wishing his manager Sallam SK a happy birthday.
The Bongo singer praised Sallam SK as the best manager ever and said he was the one who went to Dubai to buy him his first Rolls Royce.
Diamond Platnumz announced he will be buying a private jet this year while thanking his management for buying him Rolls Royce Cullinan.
“We bought a 2021 Rolls Royce Black Bedge Zero killometre last Year, and we buying a Private Jet this Year!!! ✈ … that’s the definition of having the Best management!…Fu*k! it’s my Manager @sallam_sk ‘s Birthday and we party hard at UPEPO GARDEN tonight!! 🌍,” wrote Diamond Platnumz on social media.
The Bongo singer revealed why he is buying a private jet while speaking to the press in Ivory Coast where he was to promote his recently released EP FOA (First of all) as part of his world tour.
Speaking to journalists, the ‘Mtasubiri’ hit maker revealed that he was planning to buy a new jet probably before his birthday on 2nd October.
He said he was buying the jet to facilitate ease of travel, insisting that he wasn’t doing it just to show off.
“I am buying a jet not because I want to show off but because I have to. Look, at my world tours now I have a lot of shows, I have to be flying like sometimes to three different countries. If you look at the number of people I am travelling with and the amount I spend on airlines it is best if I buy my own jet. And I will be saving a lot of money,” Diamond Platnumz said.
