Diamond Platnumz has since surpassed every other expectation he might have set out for himself when he was starting out from his ‘Mbagala’ days.
Everything Platnumz set out to accomplish he has surpassed all of them.
Diamond Platnumz is now more than a nominal African artiste, he is more of a pop star and as famous as a rock star or as a modern-day pop star, it’s safe to say that Diamond Platnumz is the “Justin Beiber” of Africa and I honestly won’t be surprised if he gets to work with Justin Beiber now that he’s as huge as any other artiste could ever be.
There’s no African country that doesn’t know who Diamond Platnumz really is.
The Tanzanian who is currently riding high on the globe with two hit records that he put out; ‘Gere’ and ‘Jeje’ was on Switzerland as a part of his Europe tour and got to meet up with the first-ever, Secretary-General, Fatma Samoura.

FIFA and Fatma Samoura were happy to host him and his team!
I mean that’s unprecedented even for any other established African musician out there, Diamond Platnumz was given a presidential treatment at the FIFA headquarters in Zürich, Switzerland.
FIFA’s official Instagram page said; “Diamond Platnumz Brings the Baba Lao to the FIFA Museum,” in part.
adding, “The FIFA Museum got a lesson on the Baba Lao this afternoon, from none other than the man himself – Diamond Platnumz. We had a great time touring him and his crew through the museum – and were pretty impressed with the Tanzanian’s skills on the Football Pinball as well as the dance floor” being super honored to have honored the ‘Baba Lao’ hitmaker.
Diamond Platnumz is just on his own level and there’s nobody out there who can take that shine away from him.
It’s only the first quarter of 2020 and he has already achieved so much.
