Who would have thought that Diamond Platnumz would turn out to be the biggest act from Africa leave alone Tanzania and/or east Africa which he has dominated since he released ‘Number one remix’ with Davido.
“For me, one thing that Diamond has taught me from that experience is that persistent is everything” super-talented producer to ever come out from Kenya, Musyoka said in part on a sit down he had with Richard “Astar” Njau.
Diamond Platnumz sang the chorus for Punit’s ‘Kare’ hit song at MTV Awards.
Musyoka also talked about meeting Fally Ipupa on the list at the same MTV Awards in Lagos and not knowing who he was then and went on to blame it on the ignorance of not knowing African artistes back then.
Apparently, Diamond Platnumz was not a big name as he is today back then plus he wasn’t sitting next to the A-list celebrity seats back then where Musyoka was sitting next to the musical international big wigs like Eve, Rick Ross, and T-Pain.
Fast forward to today, it’s Diamond Platnumz who has a music empire that’s shining in all of Africa and has a record out with Rick Ross, see God at work.
Musyoka talked more about many hit records he produced for Punit like the hit single ‘You Guy’ that also escalated Vera Sidika’s career as a socialite with her huge nyash.
