If Diamond Platnumz gets to win this coveted award, he will become the second WCB signed artiste to win the coveted award and the third overall winner from the East African region after Rayvanny, and Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo who was the first East African musician to win the award back in 2015 for the ‘BET Viewer’s Choice Award’ category.

Two years later after Eddy Kenzo’s win, Rayvanny, later on, won in ‘THE BET Viewers Choice Best New International Act’ category becoming the first Tanzanian, the second East African, and the first artiste signed under Diamond Platnumz’s record label WCB to have won the award.

All eyes are focused on Diamond Platnumz, Aya Nakamura, Wizkid, and Burna Boy to see who will emerge the winner in the highly contested category that has stellar celebrated artistes in their own right.
