Diamond Platnumz is synonymous with the African music period, he might have not won the international accolades and awards but he is regarded as SIMBA back home in Africa.

Diamond Platnumz is a brand like no other, he makes superstars from nobody.

If it were not for Diamond Platnumz real name Naseeb Abdul Juma established artistes like Harmonize, Rayvanny, Mbosso, Zuchu and arguably also Tanasha Donna wouldn’t be at the peak of their careers like they are today.

That being said, Diamond Platnumz commands a whole lot of fanbase across the African continent and globally at large and everything he does is phenomenal when it comes to music.

To wrap everything up in a perfect little ribbon, Diamond Platnumz commands traction like an international artiste he is who has millions and millions of fans across the board in all social media.

What most of you don’t know though is that the Tanzanian musician who rose from nothing to become one of the sought-after international artiste selling out shows in America is that most of his true loyal fans who supports him on YouTube are from Kenya.

Yes, Kenya, according to a well-placed source, Diamond Platnumz’s views on YouTube usually come from Kenya with the Obama country having a huge chunk of views followed up with Tanzania, his home country and then the United States of America.

It’s now no secret why Diamond Platnumz can’t seem to get enough of Kenya and what the country has to offer recently having a baby mama from the country in Tanasha Donna.

To say the least, Diamond Platnumz loves Kenya and there’s a reason why he chose to release his debut album ‘A Boy From Tandale’ a few years ago in Kenya and not in Tanzania, it’s because the ‘Jeje’ hitmaker gets genuine love from Kenya and almost his music are always on rotation in the country as soon as they drop.

Diamond Platnumz got his big break in the African music scene by collaborating with OBO himself, Davido on his ‘Number 1 remix’ a couple of years ago but what most people don’t know is that Diamond Platnumz shot the music video for ‘Number 1’ in the country with Kenyan actor and singer, Avril being apart on the cameo.

I guess the love that Diamond Platnumz has for Kenya and Kenya’s love for Diamond Platnumz is mutual and that might also be the reason why Kenyans were happy to see Diamond Platnumz with Tanasha Donna, a true daughter of Kenya.
