The 34-year-old singer, songwriter, and record producer achieved this incredible feat over the weekend, sending shockwaves through the music world.

According to figures released by WCB Wasafi, Diamond’s record label, he now leads the pack in the sub-Saharan region with an astonishing 9 million subscribers.
He is followed closely by Rayvanny with 5.11 million, Burna Boy from Nigeria with 4.85 million, Harmonize with 4.56 million, and Fally Ipupa from the Democratic Republic of Congo with 4.24 million.
In Tanzania alone, Diamond’s dominance is even more pronounced, with a staggering 9 million followers, followed by Rayvanny (3.32 million), Harmonize (3.24 million), Zuchu (2.74 million), and Mbosso (2.74 million).
Other notable African artists who feature in the top ten include Rema (4.18 million), Davido (4.02 million), Ckay (4.02 million), Kusin Tyla (3.9 million), and Mr Flavor (3.36 million).
