Without the support of Kenyan fans, musicians like Diamond Platnumz, Nigeria’s Ruger and many other foreign musicians would not be getting the millions of views their videos are garnering – YouTube statistics show.
The YouTube statistics has shown that eight foreign musicians got more YouTube views from Kenya than from their own home countries for the year 2022.
Tanzania’s Diamond, Harmonize, Rayvanny, Zuchu, Juma Jux, Mbosso and Nigeria’s Ruger and Guchi were among the foreign musicians who got more YouTube views from Kenya than from their home countries for the year 2022.
All of the named musicians got more YouTube views from Kenya by far compared to the views they got from their home countries.
For instance, Diamond got 122 million views from Kenya while he only got 67 million from Tanzania.
Ruger got 40 million views from Kenya while he only managed 16.2 million views from Nigeria.
