Diamond Platntnumz announced that he was single in a post shared on his social media accounts in the dead of the night.
The breakup announcement appeared at 3:17 am on Thursday, January 18, 2024, and was quickly deleted by the break of dawn.
“From today on, ningependa niwatangazie rasmi kuwa I AM SINGLE, sidate wala sina mahusiano na mwanamke yoyote…hivyo nisiwekewe mwanamke yoyote kama mwanamke wangu, itapotokea kudate ama kuwa na mahusiano nitawajuza ama kuwatambulisha as I always do!” Diamond announced.
“Kwa pamoja na Zuhura tunaomba tuwataarifu ya kwamba kwasasa sisi ni dada na kaka na si wapenzi kama iliyokua ikidhaniwa ama wengine kujua… Mnaruhusiwa wachumba na wake ama waume kama tutawaridhia… Lakini muwe na vibarua vinavyoeleweka sio mje kutuchuna, maana atuhongi hovyo,” he added in another post.
However, even as Diamond deleted the post, screenshots were already taken and bloggers reported the breakup and some even came up with theories why the Wasafi boss parted ways with Zuchu.
Just as Diamond and Zuchu’s breakup news was taking over social media by storm, the Wasafi boss came out to rubbished the breakup.
Diamond noted that there is no way he can be single, stressing that he was still very much together with Zuchu.
The Wasafi boss additionally mocked those who were excited about his announcement that he was single, stressing that people don’t just break up that easy.
“Niwajulishe tu kwamba swala la USINGLE limeshindikana hivyo naendelea kula raha hubani kwenye kisiwa na kitongoji kilekile cha karafuu… Na wote mlokua mnashadadia poleni sana, siku nyingine acheni papara, mjifunze kuskilizia ata kidogo! Watu hawaachani kifala tu hivyo,” Diamond wrote.
