Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho, has been under siege ever since ODM candidate Willy Mtengo won Malindi by-election by a landslide.
Joho flew from Mombasa to Nairobi to meet party chairman Raila Odinga whom he briefed about Malindi by-election and the way forward for the party in the Coast region.
Their lengthy meeting was held at Raila’s office at Capitol Hill Square building. Raila who had just jetted from his trip in Israel urged Joho to stand firm against Uhuru’s government intimidation.
