Mulamwah’s baby mama Caroline Muthoni aka Carol Sonnie has revealed that she struggled with depression to the point of cutting her hair.

The mother-of-one on Thursday posted a memorable video of her sitting at a barbershop getting her dreadlocks cut.

In her statement, she revealed that she took the step of cutting the hair that she had for a long time as part of the transformation.

“Aki depression almost took me. Today I shaved my identity for a change. Let me tell you Maina. It’s not easy,” Carol Sonnie said under the video that she shared on her Instagram page.

She said that she would say more about depression on her YouTube channel.

For a long time, Mulamwah’s baby mama was known to have black and brown stripes on her head.

The mother of one surprised many when she shaved off her dreadlocks in September 2022 after wearing them around her head for nearly nine years.

While engaging her fans in a question and answer session in the past, Sonnie revealed that she got the dreadlocks in 2013.

“Think nine years, I put it in 2013 September,” Sonnie replied.

She also revealed that she was willing to sell the hair after shaving it, but the buyer would have to part with Ksh300,000 for it.
