Dayna Nyange has released her first major collaboration with the award-winning Davido in her recently dropped single ‘Elo’.
The Tanzanian Bongo Flava artistes popularly known by her moniker “Dragon Queen” became the first female artiste from the East African region to work with the Nigerian hitmaker on a solo project, a feat that has humbled her, she doesn’t take it for granted at all.
The ‘Elo’ record has been taken from her highly anticipated studio project, an EP dubbed ‘Elo’, a must-have studio project from Africa meant for everybody and anybody who appreciates good, quality, African-authentic music.
Inspired by a tumultuous past relationship, Dayna Nyange signed under 3RD Base Media Company, reminisces on how far she has come in this fresh single.
Utilizing a dynamic and upbeat afro-pop beat that delivers a fusion of Bongo Flava working in tandem with the Nigerian Afropop/Afrobeats, this single is destined to become a summer’s favorite.
Elo was produced by Kesh Ofuobi, and the video was directed by Nikmunah, with Dammy Twitch as the executive producer.
