Nigerian international star David Adeleke aka Davido performed at a concert in Uganda dubbed Timeless Kampala on Friday night March 29, 2024.
Davido was draped in the Ugandan flag when he touched down in Entebbe ahead of his performance.
“Yeah, yeah, we’re out here. Kampala, Timeless Concert tonight, boss in the f**kin building. Let’s do it!” Davido said with Ugandan flag wrapped around his neck.
Davido is expected to headline a 2-day Raha Fest in Nairobi which has been organized by President William Ruto’s son-in-law Alexander Ezenagu.
Raha Fest kicks off today at Uhuru Gardens, bringing international and Kenyan stars on the same stage.
The festival which is in its maiden edition will run for two days on March 30th and 31st, 2024, and promises an unforgettable blend of music, art, and culture with several stars already in the country.
The 2-day event has a star-studded lineup of Otile Brown, Bensoul, H-art the Band, Nadia Mukami, Boutross, Nviiri the Storyteller, Sanaipei Tande, and Melina Gold.
Ghana’s King Promise will also perform alongside the talented Ya Levis who is also in the country for the event.
The Raha Fest concert, devoid of major sponsors, is primarily bankrolled by Ezenagu and his network of affluent Nigerians.
Vanguard, an upscale restaurant in Westlands owned by Ezenagu, is listed as a sponsor of the Raha Fest.
Other few sponsors onboard are Martell, for which Davido serves as its ambassador.
Other sponsors are Radio Africa Group which has ties to Ezenagu’s circle and Zuri Health which is associated with Ike Anoke, also known as Taurus Music CEO, within the entertainment circles.
