The Kenyan music scene is shocked by the sudden death of award-winning gospel maestro, Papa Dennis real name Dennis Mwangi.
The gospel artiste who has worked with almost all of the top Kenyan musicians passed on late last night on Friday.
Taking to social media, Daddy Owen who had worked with the late gospel artiste on their collaborative hit record ‘Foundation’ confessed that he was among the first people on the scene after learning of the sudden death of Papa Dennis.
“When I first heard about his passing I rushed to the scene just to confirm it’s true”
The gospel hitmaker went on to say that he found 4 other people on the scene who pointed at the lifeless body of Papa Dennis. There and then, Daddy Owen confirmed that it was indeed Papa Dennis lying lifeless on the ground.

“… reaching I found like only 4 people there and they pointed at a lifeless body which I had to confirm is Papa Dennis.. it was a very sad scene. Rest in Peace Papa Dennis.” Daddy Owen added.
