Daddy Owen has been single ever since he was dumped by his fetching brown skin ex-wife Farida Wambui who eloped with an older Nakuru tycoon Albert Njuguna.
Farida took off with Njuguna before Christmas 2020 as Daddy Owen was struggling financially following the dawn of the Covid-19 pandemic which rendered many musicians broke.
Daddy Owen is now under intense pressure to remarry two years after his ex-wife eloped with the Nakuru tycoon.
The gospel singer while speaking during a recent interview said his mom is pressuring him to look for someone to visit her with.
“She tells me to even hire someone just to stop walking alone at home. She is worried that I live alone, I walk alone,” Owen told Word Is.
The 40-year-old singer however noted that he was still not yet ready to get back in marriage.
“I am not prepared since I understand it is not my decision alone, I need to have someone,” he said.
Asked if he is dating, Owen said he is still afraid that he might not make the best after his first marriage crumbled.
“Any move with someone else might trigger my past. I am like, will I treat her well or I will be under the same pressure and the relationship end again?” he said.
