CORD Push To Have Separate Tallying System Come 2017 Causes Havoc In JAP

Reports that CORD wish to have their own tallying system come 2017 is already causing havoc in the JAP wing as the next general elections near.

CORD has reportedly said that coming up with a separate system was the only way to curb vote tampering.

Jubilee leaders further claimed that the best way for CORD to seek election reforms within the Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is through their Okoa Kenya campaign.

Jubilee would do the same through their Boresha Kenya referendum drive.

Junet Mohamed, the ODM director of elections, is scheduled to travel to Germany to finish negotiations for the proposed electronic system with a German company.

The issue of the proposed parallel voting system  after Raila Odinga, the party leader for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) attended a meeting on Monday, January 25, with other senior party officials to discuss setting up their own electronic vote counting system.

The system would run parallel to the vote counting system run by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
