Confirmed: Harmonize leaving Diamond’s Wasafi to start own record label

The rumors that started late last month have turned out to be true, Bongo singer Rajab Abdul Kahali aka Harmonize is indeed leaving Diamond Platnumz’s record label Wasafi.

Harmonize has been depicting signs that showed he is in conflict with WCB management, he changed his bio on his Instagram account from ‘Signed Under WCB Label’ to ‘#WCB4LIFE’. All other Wasafi artistes like Rayvanny their bio read ‘Signed Under WCB Label’.

The ‘Kwangwaru’ hit maker also started cozying up to Diamond Platnumz’s arch-rival Alikiba. Diamond and Kiba have been music rivals for many years.

Harmonize and Diamond

Well, it has now been confirmed Harmonize is leaving Wasafi Records. Classic FM presenter Maina Kageni, who is close to Diamond, confirmed Harmonize’s exit on radio.

“He [Harmonize] is in the process of leaving Wasafi and setting up his own record label called Konde Gang,” said Maina Kageni on Classic FM.

Harmonize was the first artiste to be signed under the WCB management by Diamond. His exit is a big blow to Diamond given that Harmonize and Rayvanny were the one who propelled the label to new heights of success.
