Fred Omondi passed away in a tragic road accident on Saturday June 15, 2024.
The deceased was riding on a boda boda when it collided with a speeding Forward Travelers Sacco matatu heading in the opposite direction.
The accident occurred around 6 am on Saturday, June 15, and sadly, Fred died instantly.
Fred’s body was taken to Mama Lucy Hospital and later transferred to Chiromo Mortuary for an autopsy, which was performed on Monday, June 17th.
The cause of death has been confirmed as a result of the road accident.
Fred is survived by his loving daughter and his siblings, including well-known comedian and activist Eric Omondi, Irene, and the late Joseph Omondi.
His family, friends, and fans are left to mourn the loss of a talented young man who brought laughter and joy to many.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 21st at Citam Valley Road to celebrate Fred’s life.
His body will then be airlifted to Kisumu then ferried to Bondo, Siaya County for burial on Saturday, June 22nd.
