Kenyan comedy has since become a big thing on the internet as it has been over the years on mainstream television which in turn has seen many talented comedians making a name for themselves in the competitive industry.
Comedians like Mulamwa, the Bedsitter Chronicles, and even Eric Omondi has since made a name for themselves not only in the country but across the African region which has even seen Eric Omondi visiting numerous countries courtesy of his internet skits.

Eric Omondi was not only the first Kenyan comedian but the first Kenyan entertainer to reach the 100,000 YouTube subsribers mark a couple of years back where he was given a silver plaque to commemorate his achievements on YouTube.
The third comedian to receive those honors is none other than Henry Desagu who was given the silver plaque for reaching the 100,000 subsribers mark. He is currently sitting at over 140,000 YouTube subscribers at the time of this piece. The second comedian to receive the YouTube’s silver button was the one and only Njugush who has since taken the Kenyan comedian scene with his short skits with most of them featuring his beautiful wife.
