Professional Rugby player Collins Injera pranked most Kenyans about his retirement from professional Rugby.
The 35-year-old Olympian took to social media yesterday to make an “official” statement about retiring while on top of his game which, truth be told, came as a shock to a lot of people, especially sports pundits in the country.
Sharing his cleats on social media, Collins Injera who helped put the Kenya Rugby team on an international pedestal just the way his brother before him did years ago, the Athlete who commands a huge following on social media announced his retirement.
What a lot of people didn’t recognize when he was making that post is that he was pranking his fans online since it was on the first day of April which is known as April Fool’s Day.

I enjoyed every moment,” his ‘retirement’ post on social media post read.
The Olympian is looking forward to his upcoming games in the near future as he made it clear that he wasn’t retiring, at least not anytime soon.
“Now that fool’s day is over 😊 we can start the month properly. Happy new month, may it be full of laughter, joy, and inner peace. Happy new month fam, ❤️,” Collins Injera shared.
