Clay OG Stoner has made a name for himself as one rapper representing Umoja neighborhood among many other things but most importantly, he is known for always being real on his lyrics, telling it the way it is without fear of any repercussions whatsoever.

Once you listen to any of Clay OG Stoner songs, you will forever be his fan forever, his lyrics are sharp, well elaborate and hits home. For a lack of a better word, Clay OG Stoner is considered to be the very few artistes considered to be a woke in the music industry in general, he is not just a rapper, he is an intelligent rapper.

Giving his two cents on the now-viral song ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ –by King Kaka which calls out the injustices currently going on in the country– Clay OG Stoner believes King Kaka has since diluted the message on the ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ record deeming it as “PR stunts and marketing strategies”[sic].

Clay OG Stoner doesn’t deny the fact that King Kaka’s ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ song has a powerful message that most Kenyans can’t sleep but he’s not convinced King Kaka is giving us[Kenyans] a wake-up call.

“If King Kaka is giving us a wake-up call he needs to be an example. That’s why I’ve said; Kenya’s a circus, I’m a clown too, juu ni do as I say, not do as I do …“Clay OG Stoner said, speaking to Biggest Kaka writer iterating that “King Kaka is pulling the same gimmicks as Jaguar.”

Recently releasing his own version of ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ his own version dubbed ‘Mjinga Ni Wewe Na Pia Sisi’, Clay OG Stoner opened up about a lot of stuff that you have to have a listen to if you haven’t already.

“The same content Rabbit has on “Wajinga Nyinyi” is very similar to my track called RIENG, released in October. However, I am not saying he jacked the content, I’m just saying if a normal non-famous artiste did the track people would careless but juu ni King Kaka ohh “a messiah has arrived”. Kenya has dope artistes even minus my name… I find it hypocritical we ignore all the messages in other people’s songs and only hype and support mainstream artists who aren’t even concerned about what they say…” Clay OG Stoner.
