The parliamentary Rio 2016 Olympics Games Probe Committee has this Wednesday summoned Citizen TV sports reporter-cum-anchor to help in unraveling what might have transpired in the Rio 2016 Olympics in which Kenyan athletes were mistreated.
Kenyan athletes led by former Boston Olympics gold medalist Wesley Korir and javelin maestro Julius Yego bitterly complained over the manner in which the team was mistreated by the officials.
Korir blew the whistle on the Nike sports kits in which he maintains each athlete was given a pair of kits as opposed to over 50 kits as agreed by the sports kit manufacturer.
Yego on his part, lambasted the National Olympics Committee Of Kenya officials over payment of flight tickets.
This prompted Waihiga Mwaura to expose the rot at the NOCK.Surprisingly,Waihigas name featured so well among those whose tickets were catered for by the Olympics Committee yet,his employer Royal Media Services paid for all his expenses.
