In an internal memo that circulated yesterday October 26,the Royal Media Services had announced plans to restructure and reorganize their operations in what will see a number of reporters and news anchors go home.
The memo went on to add that despite being a very successful media entity in the last two years, the company has been forced to downsize its staff while at the same time acknowledging that those who are affected will be considered for any job opportunity should an opening arise.
Among the those who have been retrenched are Terryanne Chebet who co-anchors the Wednesday prime time bulletin dubbed the Business Center. Chebet is very experienced media personality having honed her skills at the government broadcaster, KBC. She is also a popular face in the corporate cycles where at times she moderates events.
