American RnB superstar Chris Brown is among musicians whose songs were most streamed by Kenyans on YouTube in the month of August, 2022.

YouTube released a report which listed the top 10 musicians whose songs were most watched by Kenyans on its video streaming platform.

A quick conclusion after looking at the list is that Kenyans don’t like watching local music songs because the list is dominated by Bongo musicians.

Diamond Platnumz was the most streamed musician on YouTube in August with 6.89 million views, followed by fellow countryman Rayvanny with 5.8 million views while Nigeria’s Burna Boy was third with 4.89 million views.

Harmonize and Zuchu came third and fourth respectively with 4.42 million views and 4.38 million views respectively.

Another Bongo singer Mbosso also managed to make the cut as he was ranked at position seven having managed 3.29 million views.

Kenyan music group Sauti Sol took position nine on the list with 2.6 million views while American RnB crooner Chris Brown finish 10th with 2.58 million views.

Interestingly, two upcoming Afrobeats musicians in Asake and Ruger also made the cut in the top streamed artistes on YouTube in Kenya.
