Most of them if not all of them hail from Ongata Rongai in Kajiado county, Kenya and it seems like most talented acts like Timmy TDat, Smallz Lethal just to name but a feware currently coming from this county, maybe there’s something making them prosper and be awesome in music business that can only be found in ‘Ronga’ (as they call it) I don’t know.
125 is a trio rap group that consists of young talented artistes that I can see making it big in the music industry big time! And yeah, they will be bigger than Camp Mulla and their new song ‘Taabu’ which they featured yet another sizzling group called Red Acapela which is as good a statement as many out there and that’s what you need in this industry and 125 got that niche that the Kenyan music game needs now, I only wonder what might happen if you put these group in one recording studio with Khaligraph Jones or Octopizzo, Fireworks is what you should expect if you do just that.
The music also pays tribute to the legendary Kenyan ‘Zilizopendwa’ musician Daudi Kabaka who inspired the track’s banging instrumental and Dillie did a banding job by making that dope beat.
