Ugandan music legend Jose Chameleone has surprised fans in Toronto, Canada just a day after leaving Aline Hospital in Minneapolis, USA.
The singer had been admitted to the hospital due to stomach complications, but he is now on the path to recovery.
Chameleone took to his social media platforms to share a video where he is seen leaving the hospital in a wheelchair, accompanied by a friend.
Expressing his gratitude, he thanked his followers, fans, and well-wishers for their prayers and support during his hospitalization.
“I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and prayers that I received during my hospitalization. Your kind wishes have truly given me strength through this challenging time.
“I am now on the road to recovery. Thank you Aline Medical Hospital Minneapolis for your significant role in my progress.
“While my recovery may still require some time and patience, I am confident that I will return to good health soon. God has always been good to me. Thank you all my people,” Chameleone wrote on social media.
Hours later, Chameleone shared a video of him performing in Canada.
In the video, the ‘Valu Valu’ hit maker begins his performance seated on a chair before rising to his feet and engaging with the crowd. He even allows fans to touch his head.
“@afrofest_toronto I showed up – Thank you for the unconditional love. The smiles on your faces is the prayers for me. One day we shall come back big, brighter and better. Thank you management for all the special care. We shall be back next summer. #Energy,” Chameleone wrote.
