Cassper Nyovest releases his first ever Kwaito album, Sweet and Short

Cassper Nyovest has finally released an album that is predominantly Kwaito which is something that the rapper has never done before and he is the second rapper this year to release an album in predominantly vernacular after Anatii’s ‘Iyeza’ album which is predominantly done in vernacular.

Cassper “Mufasa” Nyovest who intends to make history tonight by filling up the Moses Mabhida Stadium which he was given for free by the Durban government has released the much awaited Kwaito album dubbed ‘Sweet And Short’ which is about to go platinum as you read this and the album reception is nothing short of awesome.

Cassper Nyovest had already released three records off the album which were well received by the fans and this time around, since the full album was released yesterday, everybody and not only in South Africa are feeling the album.

Even though the album is not in English, most people who doesn’t understand the language are feeling the album even here in the country.

The Family Tree founder and CEO recently mentioned that he intends to sell more platinum records in Kenya in a recent interview has gotten the attention of the entire continent who wants to see him succeed on his latest Fill Up Stadiums venture which is now a franchise and is something that we all keep looking out for every year even though some of us can’t get to attend since it’s usually held in South Africa and not all his fans are from there, he even has fans here in the country.

His latest Kwaito album dubbed ‘Sweet And Short’ has interesting features with artistes like Shwi Nomtekhala, Frank Casino, Dj Sumbody and Boskasie being a part of it.

Cassper Nyovest promised that this album will change the game in the hip hpo and rap scene as we know it and when you get to listen to the album, you will understand that’s it true, it’s indeed a game changer.
